Day 1, Lima - Ica
Buffet breakfast. Depart on a 300 km. / 188 mi. drive along the Peruvian Pacific coast to the city of Ica. Optional flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines; you will see from the air drawings of animals and geometric figures scratched onto the arid crust of the desert which have been preserved for about 2,000 years. Overnight at the hotel of your choice in Ica.
Day 2 Ica - Paracas - Lima
Breakfast. Early transfer to the Paracas Bay to embark on a 2-hour boat ride to the Ballestas Islands situated off the coast of the Paracas Reserve, Peru’s largest coastal wildlife sanctuary. These beautiful islands are home to thousands of resident and migratory sea birds, including pelicans, boobies, cormorants, and gulls among others, who share their habitat with colonies of sea lions. On the way you will also see one of the mysterious drawings etched on the desert face, the “Candelabro”.
Departure back to Lima and transfer to the hotel of your choice.
